The Utah Legislature recently adopted the 2021 I-Codes with an exception for the residential provisions found in the 2021 IECC and 2021 IRC Chapter 1. As we remain on the amended 2015 residential energy code, this class will briefly review the current Quick Guide, followed by a presentation of the newly developed Plan Review and Inspection Checklist. These checklists will be beneficial to those familiar with the energy code and those less experienced. A valuable resource for jurisdictions wanting to improve their energy code compliance rate.
