Description:
The International Mechanical Code defines Makeup Air as any combination of outdoor and transfers air intended to replace exhaust air and exfiltration. This combination of lab, field and classroom training will discuss how we can effectively and efficiently replace air exhaust in commercial kitchens, paint booths, dust/debris collections system, and in recent years, in residential construction. Topics include heating and cooling technologies, energy reduction strategies, direct and indirect gas heating, demand-based ventilation for energy savings, and building pressurization. Includes lab hands-on demonstrations and training with functioning Direct-fired units from Greenheck and Cambridge Air Solutions.
